We organize weddings from May to the first week of November. Contact us to see which weekends are still available. We would also like to remind the guests of our farm that this is also our private farm and our home. We ask customers to respect this as such and to do everything in their power to minimize the negative effects on historical property. Upon receipt of your deposit and signed contract, holder Jayme Greenfield will also sign the contract and send you a copy – and your wedding date will be secure! Please note: Due to the high number of applications, Lakota`s Farm is not able to hold appointments until couples actually book their marriage with a signed contract and a security deposit. The farm in Lakota is our home. During your visit, we will be busy preparing gardens, grounds and buildings for your special day. On your wedding day, the farm will be peaceful and quiet.
We take care of our part of cleaning the barn and the site the day after your wedding. This does not mean that it is acceptable to leave all the cleaning work to us. We ask your caterers/planners to comply with our Traiteering/Planner Memorandum Agreement. Alcohol and driving represent increased risks, which are the full responsibility of the wedding society and its guests. All LF routes and car parks are at your own risk. An on-site wedding coordinator is available for installation, rehearsal and on your wedding day. On your wedding day, you will have your wedding coordinator and two dedicated collaborators to help you in your event. Specific staff tasks for the duration of your wedding include: welcoming guests, cleaning bathrooms, managing lights, golf shuttle and campfire monitoring. The down payment will be refunded within 10 days of the contract being concluded. The balance of the full rent is due 60 days before the event. If the payment has not been received on that date, your event will be cancelled and all deposits will expire.
If cancellation is required, the down payment will be refunded within 10 business days of the contract being concluded. Tenant deposit is pre-assembled if cancellation occurs after the 10-day working window. The designated car park can accommodate up to 125 cars and is marked with signs. Weather conditions can be a bit muddy as a result of heavy rains on an area and all drivers and buses (if any) must remain on the indicated gravel surface or in designated parking areas. All damage caused to property by the bus companies is repaired and paid for by them or by the wedding company. All non-refundable rental fees are required to meet the date arrangements you have chosen. This down payment is due within 7 days of signing the lease and is charged on the total cost of the event. The remaining rental costs and the deposit for damage/cleaning are due 60 days before the event. The balance sheet for additional services (such as planning services, horse and carriage service or the dance floor) is due 30 days before your wedding date. All candles, fireworks or flames of any kind are prohibited in or around barns. Battery candles are allowed. These rules are for your safety and for ours. As part of your wedding package, we provide you with a driver, three (3) passenger golf carts to bring guests from the parking lot to the lawn of the wedding barn. For a fee, we can provide you with a tractor-drawn hay cart to transport customers from the parking lot to the barn.
